Greentone Harmony: Nature, Earth, Flourish, Spring, Growth, Invigorate and Nourish, Jealous, Whimsical, Benevolent. The Chakra or energy of green is believed to be love and healing.
Greentones can be bright or olive green. However, most natural green stones are not solid. They may be splashed with orange, like Unakite and Spring Jasper. Some show a variety of swirls or abstract colorations of oranges, reddish browns, or golden yellows in various random patterns. Examples are Saturn Jasper and Ryolite (also called Green Rhyolite, Rainforest, Rainbow or Peacock Jasper). Green Aventurine looks like a solid light to dark green, but it actually has mica inclusions that sparkle like silver in the sunlight. Others are deep to light green like Green Jade. British Columbian Jade from Canada has black inclusions thought to be Pyrite. Green Serpentine forms naturally in yellow-green, bright green, and olive green with red, bright yellow (often referred to as Yellow “Turquoise”), Lemon “Jade,” and Green-Teal. Ocean Jasper, may have green or white backgrounds, with a natural variety of colors (including green) that form random and abstract patterns. Dragon Blood Jasper, also called Bloodstone, is deep green splashed with bright to deep red. Red Creek Jasper is green, teal, rusty red, and a deep golden yellow - with dark streaks that look like lightning strikes. Each stone, regardless of its shape, is one-of-a-kind.
