A bold, but gently faceted oval pendant that shows all the natural color, texture and beauty of Rhodonite. Miriam’s Signature Sterling Silver Twists add a unique statement to this elegant stone. Rhodonite has a distinct "grainy" pinky-peach to rose-red color, and may also show some soft brown-black and gray dendritic inclusions. Stones can be light or very dark, and have a vitreous luster that sometimes appears “pearly.” It is found in Australia, Finland, Japan, Canada, Madagascar, Mexico, the Urals in Russia, Sweden, South Africa, Tanzania, and in the United States in New Jersey.
Do you know the difference between Rhodonite and Rhodochrosite?Rhodonite is sometimes confused with Rhodochrosite, which has raspberry red and pink tones, and a creamy white marble coloration that appears as light to dark stripes with zigzag bands.
