A Blue Sodalite Pendant and Necklace Combo is delicate, sophisticated, and elegant! Perfect for any occasion.  The Sodalite Pendant stone is a romantic teardrop with White Calcite veining and varying blue colorations. The beautiful White Calcite is a striking feature of this natural stone. Even the Sterling Silver Clasp was chosen to match the handmade Sterling Silver Pendant-Frame. Some believe that Sodalite is associated with a sense of calm to weather the storms of life.
  • Full length of the Necklace is 19.5 inches.
  • Sterling Silver Pendant-Frame is 24mm long and 31mm wide.
  • Sodalite Teardrop Focal Stone is 21mm long and 12mm at its widest point.
  • Sodalite Rondelles are 8mm x 5mm.
  • Sodalite Square stones are approximately 12mm.
  • Two Sodalite accent stones are 4mm.
  • Four Sterling Silver Flat-Tire Spacers are 8mm x 4mm.
  • Two Sterling Silver Flat-Tire end beads are 5mmx2mm.
A Historical Note About Sodalite: Discovered in 1806 in Greenland, Sodalite became more popular as an ornamental stone in 1891, when large deposits were found in Ontario, Canada. It was on a visit to Ontario when Princess Patricia of England chose Sodalite as the interior decoration for Marlborough House—and 130 tons of this beautiful stone were quarried and shipped to England.

Caring for Sodalite: Because of the soft and porous nature of calcite, genuine Sodalite is fragile and should be gently treated. It can be easily scratched by most other gemstones, and should be stored away from other jewelry. Miriam’s jewelry comes with a storage bag.
