Dendritic Tree Agate
Dendritic Tree Agate is a lucent (semi-transparent) form of quartz. It is not banded like other Agates, and often has opaque qualities, so it is not considered an Agate in the strictest terms. Rather than banding, this interesting and attractive natural stone has dendritic (tree or fern-like) inclusions of iron or manganese that form interesting patterns in deep forest to light green, greenish gray or black within a milky white (sometimes translucent) or gray hazy stone. It can be found in Uruguay, India, and Brazil. In some parts of India, Dendritic Tree Agate is considered to be a Talisman (a lucky charm), a “Stone of Plentitude” and inner peace. Some believe that Tree Agates vibrate to the rhythm of Earth’s frequency, connecting us to nature's spirits, sprites, and faeries. It’s easy to see why! Dendritic Tree Agates have a unique composition. Its colors and shapes are like a peaceful forest, a bridge to the peaceful or soothing vibes of Mother Nature. Metaphysical essence: Focus, clarity, inner peace, and stability.
