Dare to be Outrageous with this Exotic Mauve, Pink, Burgundy Wine and Gray Necklace (PUR-011) Sold
The exotic natural splashes of mauve, pink, gray, and a deep burgundy wine are amazing—each stone a singular work of art created by Mother Nature. No two stone are alike, and Miriam’s designs are one-of-a-kind creations that epitomize the fashion expression “Wearable Art.” The beautifully hammered Sterling Silver accents add to the artistic interest of the necklace. Miriam’s Designer Jewelry is always about the stones - how they look and feel to the touch and what sort of accent beads they inspire. That's one of the reasons she describes her jewelry as "Stones by Mother Nature. Jewelry by Miriam Bat-Rachel.” Some of the photos show both the front and back of these exciting reversible stones--and every stone is reversible!

While often referred to as Jasper, Crazy Horse Stone is a form of limestone, more commonly called “Artistic Stone”—likely because of its fabulous splashes of color. The stones are often coated with a clear epoxy to provide better luster and hardness; some are glossy, others are matte. Either way, coated and polished, or with a non-glossy surface, the exotic natural circles and streaks are all provided by Mother Nature as a singular work of art. No two stones are alike, just as Miriam’s designs are one-of-a-kind creations that epitomize the fashion expression “wearable art.” A similar “Crazy” patterned stone —called “Wild Horse”—has distinctive white patterns surrounded by rich toasty and reddish brown colorations. The geological name of this interesting stone is magnesite, This is a newer stone that was discovered in the mid-90’s near the Globe copper mine in the Gila wilderness area of southern Arizona. Some call this decorative stone Wild Horse or Buffalo Turquoise but it is NOT turquoise! Miriam is currently working witha variety of these "Wild" stones—soon to be launched on this website.
