Exceptional African Yellowstone teamed with Red Creek Jasper (YEL-008)
The center focal area of this exceptional necklace is a 1.5 x 1.25-inch oval African Yellowstone, accented by two deep yellow diamond-shaped Moukaite gemstones, two smaller oval African Yellowstones, and beautifully hammered and carved Sterling Silver beads and clasp. The Red Creek Jasper stones are a lush mix of golden honey, toasty browns, red russet, soft muted teal, and olive-green, each measuring 0.5 x 0.25 inches.
- The full length of the Necklace is 26 inches.
- The focal (center) area measures 7.75 inches.
This is one in a series of three Necklaces designed to be worn separately or together as shown in the photo close-up. All accents beads and the matching clasp are Sterling Silver.
About the stones in this Necklace: Red (or Cherry) Creek Jasper exhibits a gorgeous colorful combination of tan, a variety of reds, golden yellow, teal and sage greens—all swirled between a striking pattern of dark lightning-like streaks. This colorful stone comes from the Cherry Creek Mine in Mainland China, which is nearby a creek named Red Creek, hence its name! Sometimes this lovely stone is called Picasso Jasper because it shows streaking similar to the black streaks found in the Picasso Marble from Utah. The Red Creek Jasper is teamed with Moukaite, Ocean Jasper, and African Yellowstone to create a series of three matching necklaces. Miriam particularly likes how the African Yellowstone shows a landscape-like pattern, which is also seen in the Moukaite and Ocean Jasper she used in the collection of three necklaces—which is available as a set with special discount pricing.
