Venus Jasper occurs naturally in colors that include browns, golden yellows, creams, blue-grays, gray-greens, and soft rose and red. It’s romantic name is taken from the planet Venus—which was named for the Roman goddess of love and beauty. Some designers and natural stone aficionados also think the gorgeous soft golden yellows, rose, and blue-grey tones look like the swirling clouds of Venus, which is also called the "Morning Star" planet when it appears in the east—just before sunrise. Venus Jasper is mined in Mexico. It is also referred to as an Orbicular Jasper. Metaphysical essence: Grounding, stability, strength and healing.
