Kambaba Jasper is an exotic, sedimentary stone comprised of microcrystalline Quartz interlaced with Stromatolites. Strommatolies date back more than three billion years. They are the oldest of the ancient fossilized colonies of primeval microorganisms. This beautiful green and black stone is sometimes called Crocodile Jasper because of its deep green color and deep brown or black oval rings that appear to some people as crocodile skin. It is also sometimes referred to as Kambaba Jade, but it is not Jade.
