Earthtones—Dark and Light Browns, Sandy Browns, and Rusty-Red Browns
The full list of Miriam’s Earthtone Collection may include grey, black, mauve, terracotta red, green and yellow--all having a neutral brown, beige or taupe component. Gold Brown Pietersite, Bronzite, Tiger Iron and Tiger Eye are highly chatoyant and glow in the sun and candlelight. Silver Mist Jasper is found in subtle and lovely neutral colors with bands of gray, tan and cream. Wonderstone shows vivid shades of light to dark sienna, caramel, and a deep reddish brown. Other Earthtone stones display a soft smoky green hue, with gray and tan-colored bands – some, like Leopardskin Jasper, show bold and contrasting natural round spots of deep red, or even a striking peach or deep coral. Others, like Fossil Coral, display ornate and textured flower or fern-like patterns that are actual fossilized remnants of ancient coral reefs (with no artificial enhancements). The beautiful patterns and neutral colorations are determined by the particular species of coral that became fossilized. Brown or Red Picture Jasper, Owyhee Oregon Picture Jasper, Brown Rhyolite, Montana Moss and Mexican Laguna Lace Agates, Red Creek and Noreena Jaspers… and many more stone and pearl varieties, all include a neutral color component. Shown here are ready-made necklaces where the predominant color is a neutral tone. If you love the Earthtones, but don't see a design that just right for you, contact Miriam for a Free Estimate.
